◆ Staying Healthy
We have established a beginners and a non-beginners course for individuals
to make friends and who wish to continue with their exercise routines as
well as continuing their own individual moderate daily exercise plan. The
courses consist of guidance for light exercises, aerobics and relaxation
techniques.
◆ Measuring Physical Strength
You will be given advice that you can put into effect in your own daily
life that match your personal physical strength. It consists of checking
the condition of your health, and measuring your physical health after
warm-up exercises.
◆ Health Course for Women bringing up Children
Stress reduction from bringing up children and aerobics, walking and stretches
etc aimed at women from 20-40 years old.
◆ Exercising in your local area
A course aimed at low physical strength middle and old-aged people who
live in the same area. It is held periodically and. includes health advice
and light exercises like stretches, taught by advisors.
◆ Let’s walk
There are two walking courses (North and South, long and short). For more

◆ Influenza Vaccination
To prevent serious illness and the spread of influenza, the influenza
vaccine is available. It is aimed at people over 65, or those between 60
and 65 who have heart, kidney and/ or respiratory problems or those with
HIV, disabilities or those with a doctor’s recommendation.

This book is issued to you to make a record of your health check-ups and
in order to maintain your health.

Consultations about Mind and Body Health with a Public Health Nurse.
◆ Nutrition Consultation
Guidance and advice on nutrition and eating habits for your lifestyle.
◆ Mental Health Consultation
For those with mental illness and their families, Mental Health Consultations
and Advice is available to help support you in your local area, while also
providing appropriate Medical Treatment.
◆ Individual Lifestyle Related
Disease Consultation Discuss your lifestyle and eating habits and come
up with ways in which to improve on them.
◆ Classes Preventing Lifestyle
Related Diseases Course discussing food and ways to combat bad eating
habits. The topic changes every year and cooking classes are also available.
◆ Nutrition Classes
The purpose is to amend bad eating habits. The classes are aimed at training people
wishing to volunteer with the “Improvement of Eating Habits Committee”
and who are over 18 years of age.
◆ Area’s Activities
“We control our own health” is the slogan for the volunteers who are working
to help the people in their local area to amend bad eating habits. There
are talks about food and cooking classes aimed at children and parents.
