To amend information on your Alien Registration Card (e.g.: Status of Residence, Period of Stay, Place of Employment etc.), promptly bring your passport, Alien Registration Card and all necessary documents to the Resident’s Division..

　Please take you’re Alien Registration Card and go to your new City/ Town Office.
　For those enrolled in the National Health Insurance System, please return the Insurance Card to the Komono Town Hall.
　For those who wish to continue to receive child-care or welfare allowances, please refer to the relevant division of the Town Hall..

　Bring your Alien Registration Card to the Resident’s Division, to register your new address.
　Please inform of any previous child-care or welfare allowances received.
　Your previous income and tax declaration certificates will be required.

　Bring your passport to the Resident’s　Division of the Komono Town Hall.
　For those over 16 years of age, bring two identical passport-sized photos (4.5cm x3.5cm) for registration purposes.

　People with foreign residency staying in Japan for more than 90 days must by law have certificates to change their residency status.
